The porta loos were disgusting, and the walk from the train station all the way round the park was a bit much.

It was a brilliant day with a wonderful atmosphere and I hope Cancer Research reach their target. I was surprised to learn that 1 in 3 people dont return their sponsorship. Maybe this point could be stressed more. The PA system wasnt really that easy to hear. On the whole well done to the organisers.

I was really proud to be part of this fantastic event. I walked it with my eighty seven year old friend! It was an emotional experience reading all the tributes and celebrations of loved ones. We celebrated our walk with a much earned ice cream over the finish line!Thank-you for a well organised event.

Starting was a bit confusing but then a lot of people also think clock should be reset or different for runners, joggers and walkers.

I enjoyed taking part on the day, the atmosphere was great, but, more important was doing something to help the research for cancer cure. I'll be taking part next year too if there is a repeat.

OK, I know it's a good cause, and I know it's only meant to be a "rough" 5K, but....the 1km marker was WAY off. I'm not sure if the entire course was a bit long, but the 1km marker was definitely well over 1km, as i was running with a Garmin and it measured the 1st KM as well over 1km. I switched off my watch at that point and didn't bother racing anymore (finished in top 10 regardless). There are some of us who like to raise money AND raise it by running a good, hard race with accurate distance and markers.

Other than that, well considered safety, good support, etc. Oh, but if the celebrities are placed in front of the runners, and they aren't running, it's not very safe. For a first event though, it was excellent overall. Great work! :-)
