3500 ran, jogged and walked the Croydon Cancer Research UK Race for Life. It was the Sunniest race day of the year for the last 2012 London Race for Life event. The race was organised by Liz Frisby, photo on stage. 
Fiona Murray managed the 'On the Day Experiences'. Fiona came on stage to tell the crowd what was on offer. While on stage Fiona demonstrated one of the experiences with announcer Elliot Frisby. Photo sequence left and below. 
One of the other experiences was a snake collection. Start/Finish manager Megan Bailey came on stage to overcome her snake phobia. 
Left the participants are away on the 5k course. It was a hilly parkland course in Lloyd Park. 
After the finish everyone received their well deserved medals.

Richmond Race for Life
It was a dry day for the two Richmond Cancer Research UK Race for Life events. 6300 participated during the day. Right Eliott Frisby performed for the crowds before the races. 
Left the morning start. The 5k was a flat grass course. 
Right the first three in the morning race. 
At the finish the participants as far as the eye can see.

Regents Park Race for Life
5700 Ran, Jogged and Walked the Regents Park Cancer Research UK Race for Life. The race was organised by Fiona Murray. 
Heart London provided the announcer. Photo on stage with his dog. 
There was light rain all day. Once underway the conditions were good for running. 
Left happy to finish. 
The weather dictated the favourite costume of the day. A pose for the camera at the finish.

Kempton Park Race for Life
As at Finsbury Park it rained during the speech and warmup. The rain cleared before the start. 
Everyone was happy to finish. The 5k was a flat course within Kepton Park racecourse grounds. 
Everyone received their medals and goody bags at the finish. Army Cadets were part of the finish team. 
It was a family day out for some. 
Jump! 3000 women ran, jogged and walked to raise money for Cancer Research UK.

Finsbury Park Race for Life
4000 ran, jogged and walked the Finsbury Park Cancer Research UK Race for Life. The race was organised by Fiona Murray. Fiona on stage making her speech during the downpour. 
Pop Dance lead the crowd in a dance routine. 
The rain stopped before the start. Right the runners start the course. 
There was a 5k and 10k option. Left the first 5k finisher.

Clapham Race for Life
3000 turned up for the Cancer Research UK Race for Life 5k and 10k. The announcer was Dean Stokes (Right) 
The 5k and 10k runners, joggers and walkers set off. This years midweek race starts at 7pm. 
The first 10k runner finishes in just over 40 minutes. 
This year there was a new course. On the second lap the 10k runners peel off from the 5k course for the final 2k. The 5k finishers on the left and 10k on the right.

12000 participated in the Blackheath Cancer Research UK Race for Life. There were 9500 in the morning 5k and 2500 in the afternoon 10k. Louise Needham (Photo right) organised the event. 
Heart London provided the announcer for the 5k race. The course was a flat grassland route within the heath.

Everyone was raising money for Cancer Research UK. At the end they were rewarded with a medal and goody bag. 
Best costumes of the day were four characters from the Wizard of Oz. Epsom Race for Life
4500 participated in the Epsom Cancer Research UK Race for Life. The race was organised by Liz Frisby. Photo of Liz on stage before the race. 
The runners set off on the 5k course on Epsom Downs. 
The announcer was Elliott (Photo right) Elliott also performed a few songs to entertain the crowd. 
The participants passed the Epsom racecourse stands in the last kilometre.

This Derby entrant turned up on the wrong day. 4000 at Enfield Race for Life

It was sunny and warm. After recent rain the course was soft. Photo left of the 4000 starting the 5K.

Many ran in costume. Right these three were the most colourfull. 
At the end everyone received a medal and goody bag. Left wearing their medals, a deserved sit down after completing the course. Dame Kelly at Battersea Race for Life

As well as raising money for Cancer Research UK many were there in memory of friends and family.

Almost 3000 ran, joged and walked the 2012 Crystal Palace Cancer Research UK Race for Life. The race was organised by Liz Fisby, photo right with announcer Timmy. 
The participants start the race. The course starts and finishes in the National Athletics stadium and passes through historic Crystal Palace park. 
The runners leave the stadium.

2012 Hyde Park Race for Life
9000 Ran, Jogged and Walked the 2012 Hyde Park Cancer Research UK Race for Life. The race was organised by Liz Frisby. 
The weather was warm and Sunny. Left the 9000 line up for the start. 
There were many colourful costumes. Right Cowgirls at the warm up.
